Barcelona appeared to follow a pattern similar to Paris, but in Paris there were also signs of groups with more specific targets.
About this data: I collected these incidents from news reports over a few evenings, recording the shop, location, time and source of each one. The dashboard shows what the press reported, not everything that happened. Paris police reported 228 shops looted and 450 vandalised, but I could only identify 39 looted shops in my sources. In Barcelona I identified 16 shops, and four of them had not been successfully entered. Please treat it as a sample I collected in my free time from public sources, not a complete picture of either city’s events.
